Weekly Schedule: 10am-5pm, except for:
- 7/2, 12:30pm - LATE (12-12:30am!). APT TRIP
- 7/3, 12:30pm-5pm
- 7/4 - NO CLASS, HOLIDAY!

Class Description: Gain classical training in acting, movement, and voice; attend a performance of Twelfth Night at American Players Theatre; and perform in a Shakespearean showcase on the final day!

Program Type: This two-week program is ideal for theater enthusiasts who want a more in depth experience focusing on a particular aspect of theater. Students will:
- Build acting, performance, & theater skills
- Participate in a collaborative theater-making process
- Gain confidence, empathy, & a sense of community
- Practice communication, flexibility, focus, & perseverance
- Take risks in a supportive environment & learn from mistakes

Pick Up/Drop Off Information: Madison Opera (335 W Mifflin St). Families will only need to park on first day for orientation and last day to see the final sharing.

# of Students: 15-20 students. Staff: 2 teaching artists, 2 Teaching Assistant & 1 High School Intern.

Experience Expectations: Previous acting experience is suggested for this program.

Typical Daily Schedule:
9:45 – 10:00 Check In
10:00 – 10:30 Warm Ups
10:30 – 12 Workshop on Shakespearean text/scansion/Shakespearean History
12:00 – 12:30 Lunch – nut free camp!
12:30 – 2:45 Stage Combat Workshop/Movement workshop
2:45 – 3:00 Afternoon Snack
3:00 – 4:45 Rehearsal
4:45 – 5:00 Clean-up, Acknowledgements, Dismissal

Final Performance: 7/5, 4:15pm, Playhouse Theater, Overture Center

Additional Notes:
- APT Field Trip: Students will travel by bus to APT for dinner, tour of the costume stock, conversation with an APT staff member, & a live performance! Students will be dropped off in Madison around midnight at one of three pick-up locations (downtown, east side, and west side). Families who wish to attend may buy discounted tickets through CTM.
- Aftercare is NOT available for this camp.
