AUDITION ONLY PROGRAM - Do not register until you have auditioned for and have been admitted to this program.

A send up of backstage murder mysteries! When the supremely UNtalented star is murdered during her opening night curtain call, Lt. Frank Cioffi needs to save the show, solve the case, and maybe even find love, without getting killed himself.

* Experience an unparalleled immersion into acting at Overture Center
* Includes movement, dance, vocal training, as well as musical theater history
* Participate in daily workshops, visits from guest artists, and intensive rehearsals
* Concludes with a full production at Overture Center.

Week 1: Monday-Friday, 9:00 am – 5:00 pm
Week 2: Monday, Wednesday-Friday, 9:00 am – 5:00 pm. (no class 7/4)
Week 3:
-- Monday-Wednesday, 9:00 – 7:30pm.
-- Thursday, 9:00am – 3:30pm (two hour break), 5:30pm call time, 7pm show.
-- Friday, 12pm – end of the performance (pizza party dinner for students is provided)
Performances: 7PM on Thursday and Friday of WEEK 3

  • A three-ring binder for the script
  • Please wear shoes that will stay on your feet (no flip flops/crocs) and clothes you can move in (no dresses). You can bring dance shoes along if you have them. Wear rehearsal sweats: you're going to be moving!
  • Please wear or bring layers (the temperature in the rooms can vary).
