Want the perfect introduction to glassblowing? Join us in the hot shop to make a color infused, solid glass paperweight. Instructor will demonstrate how to gather glass, form solid glass objects and show project examples.
  • Required supplies for this program:
  • Please bring sunglasses and wear a cotton shirt and pants - no shorts or synthetics or sandals.

Instructor -- Angela Taylor

Angela Taylor is a multi-faceted artist and arts instructor living and working in Indiana. Angela works with a variety of artistic media but focuses primarily on blown glass. Angela received her BFA from the Herron School of Art and Design in 2002. Angela began learning glass blowing at the Indianapolis Art Center in 1999 and has been teaching as a part-time instructor at the IAC since 2004. Angela equally enjoys creating her own art and teaching others of all ages how to express their creativity through blowing glass. Angela shows and sells her work at a variety of local galleries and often lends her talents to assist other local artists in collaborative works.
