Paint your way through the history of art in this unique combination of exciting lectures, field trips and painting fundamentals! Students will learn about traditional and contemporary artists while exploring the Indianapolis Art Center and the Indianapolis Museum of Art. From these inspirations and personal interest, students will create their own masterpieces in paint! All mediums are welcome and encouraged! Instructor email: color.cat@hotmail.com

Instructor -- Irina Smulevitch

Irina Smulevitch received her Master of Fine Arts at Textile Academy In Moscow, Russia. She began teaching art in Maryland, where works of her students were recognized every year in Best of the Show, First Place in Painting category. She served as a Judge for high school, college and professional artists in Maryland, Pennsylvania and Indiana. In 2005, she was featured in documentary on Voice of America TV. Her work has been exhibited in solo and group shows around the United States. Irina is also a member of Indiana Watercolor society.
