Learn how to cut cabochons (rounded polished stones), factors to consider in selecting a stone, dopping, proper use of trim saws, grinding and polishing wheels, standard shapes or freeform, and designs ideas for use of the finished stones. Instructor -- Chuck Bruce

With a background in interior design and fashion merchandising, Chuck has turned his passion to jewelry. He has certificates in Cabochon lapidary, advanced chain making, lost wax casting and spool knitting from Holland School of Lapidary Arts. His work can be seen at the Art Center’s Basile Studio Shop.
