An introduction to the unique art of painting with melted wax. Students will learn the basics of encaustic painting as well as techniques such as collage, dimensional painting, layering and drawing into wax. All styles and experience levels welcome! Instructor email: kaherrington@gmail.com

Instructor -- Kyle Herrington

Kyle Herringon is a 2006 graduate of Ball State University with a BFA in painting. Kyle was a 2008 inaugural Beckmann Emerging Artist fellow and exhibits regularly throughout Indianapolis. He is currently the Exhibitions Associate at the Indianapolis Art Center.

  • Instructor will supply materials for first class. Encaustic kit available for purchase from instructor for $70.
