In this class students will be introduced to assemblage through found objects and will use painting to assist them in achieving their vision and desired composition. Students will learn design skills that will help them in forming their work of art, along with examples of other artists that use assemblages and painting. Students will be introduced to a number of easy and safe ways to make connections with found objects along with building mass and volume that will later be used as their painting canvas. Instructor -- Kyle Herrington

Kyle Herringon is a 2006 graduate of Ball State University with a BFA in painting. Kyle was a 2008 inaugural Beckmann Emerging Artist fellow and exhibits regularly throughout Indianapolis. He is currently the Exhibitions Associate at the Indianapolis Art Center.
