Learn the fundamentals of casting as you explore a low-tech method of this ancient art: small-scale gravity casting in cuttlefish bone. You will carve and create impression molds, melt metal and pour into 1- and 2- part molds resulting in your own one-of-a-kind designs. Casting in cuttlefish bone creates amazing textures reminiscent of water ripples on a beach. Let that be your inspiration. Bronze casting shot can also be used instead of or in addition to silver.
