Learn the basics of a variety of clay forming techniques: wheel-throwing, slab, coil, sculpting and much more. This is a great class for beginners! The instructor encourages and supports individual directions and choices.

Instructor -- Timothy Ryan

A self-employed artist and instructor since 1973. His ceramics have been displayed at numerous regional art fairs, exhibitions and galleries, and several of his installation art pieces, created in collaboration with his students, are permanently installed at sites in Indiana. Has received Individual Artist Grant Awards from the Indiana Arts Commission and the Arts Council of Indianapolis. Tim has taught at the Art Center for over 22 years.
