Anybody can point and click, but in this class students develop an eye for framing a great photo. Learn how to compose using balance, rhythm and movement to control your center of interest. All that is required is a digital camera and a basic understanding of how it works. Weekly fun challenges use still life, portraiture, lighting and existing-light, and an adventure into Broad Ripple Village!

Instructor -- Dan Cooper

Attended Indiana University in Bloomington and the University of Indianapolis. He has owned his own graphic design business since 1986. Dan’s paintings are in private and corporate collections throughout the United States. He is a founding member and first president of the Coalition of Indianapolis Artists and currently the chairman of IDADA’s Ethics and Fair Practices Committee.
