Learn secrets of creating luminous artwork using soft & hard pastels as a painting medium. Bring landscape photos, or still life materials for this fast-paced workshop covering composition, focal point, value, color, mass, line - elements that create a successful painting. Learn techniques for an under-painting or toned ground including wet media, and differences in painting surfaces. Expect a demonstration, individual instruction and a framing discussion. Prepare to have fun! Some drawing/painting experience recommended.
